AGS Obtains Pennsylvania Licenses

AGS, a company that produces table games, electronic gaming machines and comes up with interactive solutions for the iGaming industry will be entering new a market – that of Pennsylvania

…This state is one of the USA’s most abundant gambling markets, with large population and land-based casinos making this a potentially lucrative deal for them.

In the Land of Plenty

AGS has been granted the license for table games and slot machine manufacturer by the state’s regulatory body, Pennsylvania Gaming Board. As a result, their products will from now on be available at 12 Commonwealth casinos.

Despite the fact that licensing is already complete, AGS won’t begin placing their products in Pennsylvania’s casinos before early 2019. There are 10 standalone and racetrack casinos and two resort casinos in this state that generate approximately $1.4 billion in tax revenue from slot machine and table games.

CEO and President of AGS, David Lopez, comments: “The two Pennsylvania licenses represent a huge milestone for AGS, as we continue to expand our presence into new markets for our company. Now, we can offer our high-performing slot cabinets, game content, table games, and table equipment to the thriving Pennsylvania gaming market.”

He added that licensing constitutes huge news for the company and that everyone in it cannot wait to begin the process of delivering their innovative slot and table products and solutions to PA operators.
