Blueprint MD Steps Down, David Purvis Joins the Board

Casino slot supplier, Blueprint Operations, is in the middle of management restructuring after the company’s UK managing director, Simon Barff, announces his imminent departure.

Set to replace him is David Purvis who will step in Barff’s role and take over his responsibilities immediately.

The Gauselmann Group division of Blueprint, which trades under the Blueprint Machines moniker, was home to Barff for over five years who steered it through a “pivotal, successful and transformative time” for the firm.

A Fond Farewell

Sascha Blodau, Gauselmann Group UK general manager, said a few heartfelt words about the former MD’s achievements during his spell with the company.

Blodau remarked that under Barff’s guidance, the manufacturing division has seen a continued growth across all business areas…

…and has established their product line as the UK’s leading brand. “We would like to thank Simon for his efforts during his time with Blueprint and wish him our very best.”

Barff himself commented that he had a great time working for the board of Gauselmann Group, “without whose support the success we achieved would have been impossible,” and added:

“I would like to thank everyone at Gauselmann for all the assistance and support they have given me, and I wish them every future success.”

“An Exciting Challenge”

His successor, David Purvis, was a managing director of Cyberview and was also CEO of Stanleybet International for over four years.

His resume also includes a tenure at Inspired Gaming Group where he worked as sales and marketing director.

He was working as a management consultant for the sports betting and gaming industry for the last six years (since February 2013)…

…during which he has an opportunity to support Gauselmann Group– his new employers – during diverse consultation and management projects.

“The opportunity to carry on the great work at Blueprint Operations is an exciting challenge and it is something that I’m really looking forward to,” said Purvis of his new appointment, and continued:

“The foundations of the company are firmly set, so we’ll be looking to build on the recent successes and solidify our market position with some fantastic new game releases and further product developments over the coming year.”

First on the Agenda

His appointment comes at a time when Blueprint purchased a games developer Project…

…which will further boost Gauselmann’s position on the UK market. The project’s innovative titles will diversify Blueprint’s portfolio which will be adjusted for the online gaming sector. The company will also adapt and integrate the project’s content into its land-based slot machines.
