British Columbia Grants Supplier License to NetEnt

NetEnt Americas was given the green light to supply real money content to Canada’s British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) with its new license from the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB).

Canada’s online casinos are regulated via individual licensing systems with its provinces. British Columbia is the 3rd largest in the country in terms of population, with around 4.6 million residents.

Owned by the province of British Columbia, BCLC’s profits go toward the support of health care and education causes.

NetEnt President and CEO Per Eriksson said “I am very pleased that we have reached yet another important milestone in our expansion on regulated markets. We are the online casino supplier with the largest presence on regulated markets in terms of number of licenses and certifications that we hold, and entering the province of British Columbia in Canada is another important step for us.”

This is a successful time for the company and its employees. Wondering what it’s like to work there? It just might be as much fun as you imagined. The licensing approval is announced while the innovator’s 8-episode web series is underway. The Challenge sees 4 hand-selected employees accept the task of climbing a mountain in the European Alps.
