Evolution Gaming Enters New Jersey via PokerStars

New Jersey’s gaming market has been booming of late, with numerous leading brands in the industry entering this state via local operators, who provide content to eager players. The territory is also going through a revival of online betting.

The next to fall in this line is Evolution Gaming, a trailblazer in live gaming sector, who has signed an important agreement with The Stars Group Incorporated – more specifically, its New Jersey oriented site, PokerStarsCasinoNJ.com.

Time For Live Casino

In an official press release, the Sweden-based giant has revealed that it will be delivering a full suite of live dealer games which will be included in the site’s growing repertoire.

The platform is a joint effort ran by The Stars Group and Resorts Digital Gaming LLC, entity of Atlantic City’s Resort Casino Hotel. It will benefit from a wide array of products, including Live Infinite Blackjack – a brand new innovation with Evolution’s seal.

The Stars Group is a long-standing customer and partner – they employ the services of developer’s Latvian branch for supplying European PokerStars domain with live casino brand of games.

The latest live games for the New Jersey Poker Stars division will be prepared and delivered by Evo’s new studio in Atlantic City.

An Old Hunting Ground

The Stars Group, formerly known as Amaya, before the name change in 2017, already has a significant expertise in doing business in New Jersey, as it also owns the reputable mobile-friendly BetStars brand there…

James Stern, land-based sales and business development director stated that the company has worked with great success, and in that time it has efficiently covered a number of regulated European markets.

He added: “The immediate popularity of our Live Casino tables at our Atlantic City studio has exceeded even our high expectations. I am confident that PokerStars Casino New Jersey’s customers will be drawn to Live Casino, and enjoy the thrill of playing at our wide range of Live Roulette, Blackjack and Baccarat tables.”

Times of Expansion

Two key events that occurred in 2018 led to something of a Rennaisance in NJ: the opening of two new huge resorts, Ocean and Hard Rock, as well as the legalization of sports betting that already yields hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue.

As a consequence, numerous leading iGaming names have started penetrating the landscape of this state, beginning with NetEnt who sealed a content deal with Churchill Downs in October…

One month prior to that event, 888 Group, one of the undeniably largest companies in this business, also launched a sports book in NJ – only days after William Hill did exactly the same…
