Mark Frissora Enthusiastic about Sports Betting in US

The recent decision of the US Supreme Court to lift a ban on the provision of sports betting services has definitely made an enormous impact on operators within the country, since many popular brands look to progressively promote their betting activities and extend their footprints to new jurisdictions. Among the gambling enthusiasts is also Caesars Entertainment Corp. CEO, Mark Frissora, whose hot off the press statements about wagering on sports are certainly optimistic.

In a recent interview with a leading online media portal, Frissora said that the Supreme Court’s decision to allow sports wagering within the U.S. is a huge win for the gambling industry, since the group almost went penniless after a two-and-a-half-year bankruptcy case last Fall. According to Frissora, strengthening domestic operations and expanding to new jurisdictions will help Caesars to operate in new territories and integrate resort properties across the nation. Atlantic City casinos, including Caesars, are ready to launch sports betting services which will undoubtedly have a positive effect on their operations.

The executive remains confident when it comes to numbers and implicates that casinos have increased interest in widening their facilities, since online betting could potentially bring more customers to their physical sports books. A lot of passionate gamers like to feel the vibe of betting at an actual casino, since staying home and wagering online is not always the best choice, added Frissora.

Furthermore, the company’s CEO confirmed that the group is looking to expand its geographical presence across multiple jurisdictions, including Asia. Meanwhile, the group is getting ready to open Caesars’ integrated resort in Incheon, South Korea in the early 2020s. However, chances are high to win a casino license in Japan as well, says Frissora, whose construction might begin in early 2019.
