Microgaming Presents Fortunium Slot at ICE

During the second day of the ICE Totally Gaming get-together in London, Microgaming, among other things, showcased and unveiled their latest steampunk-themed video slot, a game of prosperity and weird inventions – Fortunium!

Following the exploits of two main characters – Victoria, an acclaimed explorer and Maximilian, industrious inventor, the title is a 5×5 slot, fully optimized for portrait mobile play. The game will be officially released later this year.

Its main features are mystery symbols behind which low, high and wild symbols are hidden, along with a special Win Booster button that will boost player’s wins. The symbols of Victoria and Maximilian are super stacked, expanding symbols that cover the entire reel.

The game’s premiere was celebrated in an outstanding fashion on Microgaming’s ICE stand, complete with hostesses dressed in steampunk fashion, retro-futuristic machines and gear and frozen nitrogen ice cream with salted caramel whiskey and gin & tonic sorbet served.

Games Publisher, David Reynolds, commented: “Fortunium is a stunning slot that fuses together a unique genre with amazing game mechanics that will immerse players into our richest game world yet. Designed with the mobile market in mind, Fortunium is fully optimised for portrait gameplay, making it a brilliant addition to our diverse portfolio of games.”
