Online gambling market of Sweden, that launched on January 1st under new regulations and legal frame-work that introduces new ways to conduct business in this country, is continuing to thrive with constant introduction of world-renowned operators, gaming companies and developers.

The last addition to the growing flock has come in the form of Pragmatic Play, provider of top-notch entertainment solutions for iGaming operators everywhere.

In its mission to establish itself on all key regulated markets, the company’s games are now part and parcel of licensed operators’ live portfolio, including PokerStars’ and SvenskaSpel’s.

Company on a Winning Streak

This announcement comes after a string of events that secures Pragmatic’s position as one of the fastest growing teams of the industry…

…their period of growth has been going on for quite some time, with commercial contracts inked between them and numerous operators that focus on mobile, omni-channel approach to iGaming.

Besides which, there is another significant market entry after November’s confirmation by the Government of Gibraltar that the provider’s application for a license had been met with approval.

Pragmatic Play’s CCO, Melissa Summerfield, states that expanding in regulated jurisdictions is key to the strategic ambitions of the company. “Entering Sweden is a big piece of the puzzle for Pragmatic Play as we continue to move forward,” she said, and added:

“We have cemented our standing as a provider that pushes the boundaries with an award-winning portfolio of content, and we look forward to bringing our games to Swedish operators including Svenska Spel.”

Accolades, Releases and More

The firm has every right to feel confident moving into 2019…

…Back in late November, at the Malta Gaming Awards, Pragmatic’s Wolf Gold was crowned the ‘Best Slot Game,’ prompting Melissa Summerfield to say that the award “marks a year of real progress as we continue to build on our stellar range of slot titles with a series of expertly-modelled products.”

An important partnership milestone was struck with the signing of a contract with Casino Barcelona, one of Europe’s largest resorts, according to which Pragmatic becomes their exclusive game supplier.

The developer’s most recently finalized release – a 3×5 slot with 25 paylines, Mustang Gold – has been scheduled for a release on January 17th. Set in the by-gone era of Wild West settlements, some of the game’s features include bonus spins as well as a bonus mini game.

In other, but related news, Pragmatic Play’s casino game provider competitor, Microgaming, has also been active in Sweden and has gone live with their own particular brand of gaming content, causing COO Andrew Clucas to say: “This move continues our strategic expansion in key regulated markets, working closely with regulators and supporting operators.”
