Velo Partners Acquires More Studio Foxium Shares

Velo Partners and Estonian casino gaming powerhouse, Studio Foxium, have teamed up and formed a partnership bond last fall. Some seven fruitful and extremely productive months later, this collaboration is being enhanced with Velo acquiring more shares within Foxium whose Estonian and Swedish offices have been quite busy lately with the launch of Adelia the Fortune Wielder slot and implementation of Quickfire platform. Velo, on the other hand, is the UK’s most active gaming investor.

Velo’s commitment to Foxium and the decision to reflect this through larger investing into it is based on the belief that Foxium’s suite of games will make a big breakthrough in the future. Taking part in this new deal is RNG Foundry, a gaming accelerator launched in association with Velo Partners. RNG’s aim is to “work with, and fund, entrepreneurial talent in the gaming industry, providing a blend of equity investment capital, technical resources, and distribution opportunities.”

Foxium CEO, Åke André, comments: “I am happy with this deal. It reinforces Velo Partners commitment to the business and their belief in the team. Together we see great potential in our studio.”

Velo partners Director, Evan Hoff, added: “Foxium is exactly the type of team we are excited about, producing premium and market-relevant content and we look forward to supporting them in their growth”.

RNG Foundry’s Program Director Mark McGinley stated: “Our objective is to source and invest in highly ambitious, talented and creative game studios. Foxium embody all those key principles. Foxium are a flagship RNG studio and one we hold in very high regard. We foresee a very bright future for Foxium and look forward to watching them grow”.
