Yggdrasil’s Games Make Their Way To Betfred Casino

Another merger of two huge names has just occurred: renowned Betfred Casino has partnered up with Yggdrasil, one of the most talked about developers of online casino and slot games. The brand has just acquired a UK license and is making a foray toward the British market, and this Betfred deal is merely a first, albeit huge, step towards that goal.

An already impressive selection of games by the world’s most eminent software providers on Betfred has just gotten a whole lot more enviable, as Yggdrasil boasts one of the most innovative and technologically groundbreaking portfolios in the world. Some of their most notable games produced include Spina Colada, Stolen Stones, the Chibeasties series and a lovely homage to Arthur Conan Doyle’s legendary crime solver, Holmes. These will all be available at the casino from this point forward, but what is particularly exciting is that Yggdrasil’s social sharing and promotional tools are also part of the deal.

Betfred’s commercial director, Russel Young, emphasized this by saying that at Casino they are, “particularly excited to utilise Yggdrasil’s innovative in-game promotional tools, which allows us to better engage our customers.”

Yggdrasil’s CEO also added his two cents, saying: “Betfred is renowned for providing a great gaming experience, so it is a natural home for Yggdrasil slots.”

Malta-based, Yggdrasil Gaming, is a provider of online casino games and is one of the industry’s most respected suppliers. They won the iGaming Software Supplier of the Year Award in 2016, as well as EGR’s Slot Provider of the Year and Software Rising Star awards in the same year. They also began making HTML-based games, instead of Flash in 2014, long before their rivals.
